The latest release from M. Haiux 'A Quiet Collapse’ is released on Friday 30th January. It is a small Bandcamp-only release written and recorded over three nights in November 2025.
Improvised on the spot using random tunings, giving the playing a freedom that couldn’t be repeated.
It’s more somber than his previous releases it was recorded late at night at his dining room table whilst the family slept. Ditching the finger picks so he could play almost in a whisper and not disturb the house. With the microphone placed very close to the guitar there is a very intimate feel to this record.
It was unplanned, instinctive and is proudly unpolished.
